Someone asked why Trump was going to the Knicks game (if/when) he was just going to get booed. I said “a narcissist, especially a malignant narcissist, welcomes ANY kind of attention…good or bad.” Everything Trump touches dies. 😡
"inappropriate attention seeking behavior" is what it's sometimes called - with NPD one sees it writ large... and this is bigger than most of us have every seen it in our lifetimes (even old clinical folk... )
Excellent capture of the way the orange clown ruins everything, with complete disregard for everyone but himself. So sad that these events have the potential for unifying people from all walks of life, but will instead serve to further fragment the country further.
I do not think it is a "joke" about keeping the cage on the White House lawn. As Eddie Izzard said to an American audience in 1998—unjokingly—"You are the new Roman Empire, you realize that?"
